JoAnne Elizabeth Loftus
President, Archival Designs
While most home designers and builders are men, most home buying decisions are made by the woman of the house (don't kid yourself guys, you know it's true!). JoAnne Loftus is one of those rare women in the home design and building industry and her "woman's touch" is evident in all of her homes.
JoAnne's design philosophy has always been to plan homes to be both elegant and functional. As President of Archival Designs, she has adhered to the classical proportions of Georgian and Palladian design and scaled them for maximum utilization of space and materials. These exclusive home plans from Archival Designs incorporate the details and thoughtfulness that only a woman could provide, and the economization that only a builder could integrate into such graceful designs.
JoAnne grew up in the business; her father was a builder in Up-State New York. It was only natural then, that after she graduated with a business degree from the University of Buffalo JoAnne gravitated first to the real estate business and then to building and designing homes.
She has been a designer, builder and developer since 1979. In the early nineties, JoAnne helped guide the fastest growing county in the country as the President of the Gwinnett Chapter of the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association (the largest chapter of the National Home Builders Association in the country). In 1994 she was recognized as the "Builder of the Year" in this very competitive market. JoAnne has also been very active in the Chamber of Commerce and Women's Leadership Council and accumulated numerous national and regional awards for her distinctive, stylish and practical home designs.
Personally, JoAnne is very generous with her time and talents through church and charitable works. She has two very accomplished daughters and is anxiously anticipating the arrival of her first grandchild.
JoAnne's success in designing, building and selling homes provides her with the expertise and that "woman's intuition" to make your new home as one that you will enjoy everyday and be proud of for years to come.
