Simple, flush front facades dominated the styling of many two story homes built fifteen to thirty years ago, and in some regions they are still popular. There is, however, a definite stylistic change occuring; it is called "country", and the country front porch is "in", and is likely to be with us for a long time. Therefore, if you are dreaming of a wrap-around, country-style porch go ahead and do it; you won't have to worry that it will be out of fashion when you decide to sell.
